What is PopularityX?
PopularityX is just a popularity contest.
It is a market that prices who matters in crypto. Around twenty names at launch, each with a live score. All scores sum to 100%, so for anyone to rise, someone else has to fall.
Think a name is underrated, buy it. Overrated, short it. Shorts are built in, with no funding fees. The board is the index.
One board, one signal
Each name on the board has a mindshare score: its price expressed as a share of the whole board, shown as a percent. The board runs continuously, with no expiry and no resolution event.
One new name joins the board every week.
Trading
Trade by going Long on names you expect to gain mindshare, Short on those you expect to lose it. Everything runs fully on-chain, including the AMM. No custody, no funding rates, no liquidations.
